1.  1. Holidate – Netflix, October 28

This highly anticipated romantic comedy starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey, will take you on the journey of two strangers who decided to be each other’s fake family holiday dates. Emma Roberts herself said this film was exactly the type she loved to watch; romantic, fun and nostalgic, the perfect combination to a beautiful cheesy Christmas movie.

2.  2. Happiest Season- Hulu, November 25

SHE’S BACK! The LGBTQ icon Kristen Stewart is starring in this new film to bring you some much needed diversity to your screen. Speaking of the film Kirsten said “ I think I’ve wished to see a gay Christmas rom-com my whole life..”. This story centres around Abby ( Kirsten Stewert) who plans to propose to her girlfriend Harper ( Mackenzie Davis) while attending her family holiday party, only to find out that Harper haven’t told them she was gay yet. What makes the movie funnier is that Abby has to play Harper’s straight orphan roommate while also being a very bad liar.

3.  3. Dash&Lily – Netflix, November 10

     This exciting series is based on the young adult series ‘Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares’. It tells the story of two young New Yorkers who communicate with each other through a red notebook they found in a book store. Featuring LQBTQ+ characters as well this series will keep you in the spirits all the way to Christmas.

4.  4. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey – Netflix, November 13

Now to switch it up a bit we have a musical fantasy film with a star-studded in cast and production. The film is takes you into a magically eccentric world where a betrayed toymaker finds new hope and joy when his curious and kind granddaughter comes to visit him.

5. Noelle - Disney+, November 12

A Christmas movie marathon wouldn’t be complete without one about saving Christmas. Since covid has impacted the movie industry, this one will be from 2019 but it is now available to stream for the first time on Disney+. Anna Kendrick plays Santa’s daughter who struggles to find her brother, Nick, who is meant to be Santa this year. Follow her journey as she mingles with humans and hunts for her brother against the clock to save Christmas.
