 HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR AT HOME?

Not being able to go the hairdresser, or just because we're lazy doesn't mean we can't take care of our hair at home. Here you'll find some tips and tricks and recipe with only common products!



1- Define your hair need

Every people has a different hair need. Depending of your products you use, if you've made a color, if you straighten them, ...
So it's important to see what's your major problem.


Silicone in hair products can be tricky and can hide your hair damages, it's vital to avoid silicone! But not only, avoid any chemical burning products such as sulfates, alcohol, paraben, ...

TIPS: use organic and natural hair products! You have a lot in Bio shop next to you ;)

Get rid of any chemical on your hair 

The best ingredient to get rid of any chemical product is Sodium Bicarbonate (we all have this amazing powder at home. 

Mixed with water and set during 30 minutes (MAXIMUM), the sodium Bicarbonate will dissolve any chemical of you hair.

You can also use Argile! Set with water during 30 minutes, it'll have the same results.

After your treatment, you'll be able to see your real hair and their damages.

What are my hair needs ?

Depending of the results, your hair may be dehydrated, undernourished (dry), or just broken.



If they are broken, you can't (unfortunately) repair them, but you can cut them!

A dehydrated hair can be very electric, so difficult to dress. It can easily broke with the wind and sun exposure because of the lack of hydration... A dehydrated hair may happen after an hair color, to much warm and sun and with a bad body hydratation (so drink a lot ;) ).


A dry hair has a lack of nutrients. Your head has no sebum (or not a lot), your hair knot up easily and have forks. This may happen because of hair colors and products but also by genetics!

Dry or denutrished hair

To "feed" the hair the only things you need is oil! Depending of your hair, you may need differents type of oil but we'll keep it basic. here's an hair mask you can do for dry hair :



INGREDIENTS :

Olive oil/ Coconut oil (you can use Castor oil to grow)
1 Eggs
1 Avocado

STEPS :

Mix everything in a recipient.
Apply first on your lengths and go up without touching your head.
Let on for a minimum of one hour, without maximum :)
Wash your hair (with a silicone and sulfate free shampoo) and cap as you wish.
And VOILA your have nourished hair! you can repeat every 10 days or two weeks!

 Dehydrated hair

To hydrate your hair the first thing to do is to drink water all day, around 3 litres. You can also do a little mask :


INGREDIENTS :

Honey (You can use Aloe Vera Gel or Linen Gel)
1 Avocado
Water (only to ease the application)

STEPS:

Mix everything in a recipient.
Apply first on your lengths and go up without touching your head.
Let on for a minimum of 30 MINUTES if you use honey, that will lighten your hair, or 1 hour for gels.
Wash your hair (with a silicone and sulfate free shampoo) and cap as you wish.
TADAAA your hair is hydrated, repeat before every shampoo ;)
